Powerwell (KLSE:PWRWELL), through its subsidiary Powerwell International, has collaborated with Socomec Innovative Solution (Malaysia) for opportunities within the large data center and hyperscale segment in Malaysia, according to a Tuesday filing to the Malaysian bourse.

The company's shares were up nearly 1% in Wednesday's trade.

Under the pact, Powerwell International will act as the system integrator for the power train units, which are factory-integrated modules that combine power distribution with uninterruptible power supply systems supplied by Socomec, for data center facilities.

The agreement is valid for one year and is scheduled to expire on Sept. 28, 2027, unless extended.
