Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google has appealed two European Union orders requiring it to provide search data to rivals and give artificial intelligence developers access to services supporting its Gemini AI model, Reuters reported Tuesday.

The company filed challenges with the General Court in Luxembourg on Monday, arguing the measures could weaken privacy and security protections for European users, according to the report.

The requirements, imposed by EU antitrust regulators in July under the Digital Markets Act, are scheduled to take effect in 2027, the report said.

Google and the European Commission did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
