Shenzhen JPT Opto-Electronics (SHA:688025) proposed to increase the capital of its subsidiary, Shenzhen Aojie Microelectronics, by 70 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.

After the transaction, Aojie Microelectronics' registered capital will rise to 75 million yuan from 40 million yuan, while the company's stake will climb to 84% from 70%.

The Chinese fiber laser manufacturer's shares jumped 4% during afternoon trade.
