Hanmi Pharm Regains Belvarafenib Rights as Genentech Ends License

Hanmi Pharm (KRX:128940) said Genentech has terminated a 2016 license agreement for belvarafenib, returning the drug's rights to the South Korean pharmaceutical company, according to a Friday South Korean bourse filing

The termination will take effect Dec. 27. Hanmi will retain the US$80 million upfront payment previously received from Genentech under the agreement.
