The price of diesel has come down after European officials met this morning to discuss releasing strategic reserves of the fuel.

Gasoil futures traded on ICE Europe, a benchmark for diesel on the continent, fell more than 4% in recent trading. New York Harbor diesel futures are down about 3%.
