Asahi's (TYO:3333) net sales dropped 6.1% year-on-year in September, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Customer numbers dropped 12.4%, while sales per customer rose 6.8% on-year.

At existing stores, sales declined 7.4% from a year ago, with customer numbers down 13.3% and spending per customer up 6.8%.
