Goldman Sachs (GS) is preparing more than $500 million in equity awards for about 20 senior executives after the bank outperformed most peers over five years, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing filings and people familiar with the matter.
CEO David Solomon is expected to receive more than $100 million, while President John Waldron and business heads Ashok Varadhan, Dan Dees and Marc Nachmann are also among the recipients, the report said.
The awards stem from a 2021 compensation program tied to Goldman's stock performance and results relative to peers, it added.
The final awards will be determined when the five-year performance period ends later this month, according to Bloomberg.
Goldman Sachs did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
