Enphase Energy (ENPH) has begun production shipments of its new IQ Gateway Fusion system in India, the company said.

The system works with the company's IQ8 microinverters to power homes with solar energy and keep essential appliances running during daytime power cuts without a home battery, the company said.

The system serves millions of Indian households that rely on an uninterruptible power supply, or UPS, during outages and can be paired with its battery to extend backup runtime, the company said.
