Wall Street futures pointed moderately higher pre-bell Tuesday as bond yields declined slightly, and global crude prices softened.
In the futures, the S&P 500 rose 0.3%, and the Nasdaq inclined 0.4% after setting a fresh all-time zenith close on Monday. The Dow Jones was up 0.4%.
West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded down 2.2% at $87.43, and yields on 10-year US Treasuries eased to 5.27%, in pre-bell action.
The VanEck Semiconductor fund (SMH) traded up 0.3% in morning hours.
Asian exchanges traded mostly higher overnight on Wall Street cues and tech strength, while European bourses tracked north midday on the continent.
On the economic calendar is the international trade in goods and services report for August, at 8:30 am ET.
Federal Reserve New York President John Williams, Vice Chair Michelle Bowman, Kansas City President Jeffrey Schmid and Dallas President Lorie Logan are slated to speak on Tuesday.
In pre-market action, Bitcoin traded at $86,117, and spot gold commanded $4,155 an ounce.
