Firmus Grid, a data center operator backed by MAAS Group Holdings (ASX:MGH), plans to earmark about half of the shares in its upcoming listing for current shareholders that include Nvidia and the Blackstone Group, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Firmus, which priced the initial public offering at AU$11 per share, is looking to generate up to $5.5 billion in the IPO and has obtained investor indications that surpass the offering's size, according to the report.

Firmus did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

Shares of MAAS Group rose 3% in recent Monday trade.
