King River Resources (ASX:KRR) said a first-pass phase one reverse circulation drilling program delivered an around 79% success rate at an average depth of around 41 meters below surface at the Mindoolah gold project in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Intercepts encountered included one meter at 13.59 grams per tonne grade of gold from 43 meters as well as three meters at 4.7 g/t grade of gold from 38 meters.
The second phase reverse circulation drilling is scheduled to commence in early October.
Its shares were up 2% in recent trading on Monday.
