The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) gained 0.5%, while its bearish counterpart, the Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ), fell 0.7%.

IREN (IREN) shares were up 4% after The Information reported that Anthropic is the unnamed "frontier AI lab" behind IREN's major cloud-services contract, which co-CEO Daniel Roberts referenced during the company's fiscal Q4 earnings call in August.
