Marimaca Copper (ASX:MC2) said it promoted Peter Garner-Winship to CFO, effective immediately, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

Garner-Winship joined the company in March as vice president of finance, per the filing.

The transition of CFO responsibilities will allow José Antonio Merino to focus on the development of the Marimaca oxide deposit in his capacity as managing director for Chile, the company said.
