NextDC's bull at Jefferies thinks rising interest costs look manageable for the Australia-listed data-center operator. Analyst Roger Samuel tells clients in a note that NextDC has substantial liquidity to fund developments well into its 2028 fiscal year FY28. While global borrowing costs are rising amid central-bank interest-rate rises, Samuel thinks that NextDC is growing operating cashflow and earnings sufficiently to meet interest payments. That holds even if the cost of debt rises by another 100-200 basis points, he adds. Jefferies has an unchanged buy rating on the stock and a target price of 17.00 Australian dollars. Shares are at A$8.86 ahead of the open.
