1239 GMT - ABN AMRO Bank's third-quarter results should support further upgrades to analyst consensus expectations, UBS's Johan Ekblom and Joshua Humphreys write. UBS expects the Dutch bank to report a 24% rise in pretax profit, with higher commercial net interest income due to increased rates and volume growth. UBS notes its pretax profit forecast is 10% above consensus, but might be impacted by the booking of exceptional items. Any potential upgrade to 2026 commercial net interest income guidance will be in focus, as market rates have increased since ABN AMRO last raised its estimate, the analysts note. UBS sees net interest income upgrades and the plans for excess capital in the fourth quarter to be the bank's key catalysts. Shares are down 1.1%.
