City Therapeutics (CTH) shares were up more than 22% in Friday trading after the stock marked its Nasdaq debut at higher than the $18-per-share IPO price.

Shares of the company opened at $23 apiece and were trading at $22.04 after midday.

The offering is expected to close on Monday.
