Sihuan Pharmaceutical (HKG:0460) said two self-developed injectable aesthetic products made by its subsidiary Meiyan Space Biotechnology have been approved for market launch in Hong Kong.

The products are a polycaprolactone microsphere facial filler, available in 0.5-mL, 1.0-mL and 2.0-mL tubes, and a hyaluronic acid sodium composite skin booster, available in multiple sizes ranging from 0.5 mL to 3.0 mL, as well as a 5-mL package containing two 2.5-mL tubes, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong exchange filing.

The facial filler uses a polycaprolactone gel carrier to provide immediate filling and improve facial depressions. The skin booster contains L-carnosine and is designed to hydrate and moisturize skin, with antioxidant, anti-glycation and anti-inflammatory effects, the company said.
