Nvidia (NVDA) said Monday it is investing in four German startups, drawn from a nearly $10 billion plan to fund companies and research in Europe.
Two of the companies are in Munich: Agile Robots, which builds AI-powered robots for factories and logistics, and Avelios Medical, which runs an AI hospital information system used by doctors and administrators, the company said.
Other companies include Berlin's Reflex Aerospace, which builds satellites that move from design to launch in around one year, Mirelo, which uses AI to make sound effects, speech and music that fit video content, and Nvidia is also working with Siemens on AI-driven factories, Nvidia said.
Chief executive Jensen Huang made the announcement in Berlin after meeting German Chancellor Friedrich Merz to sign a joint declaration on industrial AI, it said.
