Expand Energy (EXE) said Monday it has appointed Daniel Brown as its chief executive officer, effective Oct. 26.

Brown, who has previously served as Chord Energy's (CHRD) CEO, will also join the board, Expand Energy said.

Michael Wichterich, who was Expand Energy's interim CEO since February, will return to his non-executive chair role, the company added.
