1232 ET - Airbnb is effectively expanding its products to reach more customers, Deutsche Bank analysts say. The short-term rental company is growing its hotel offerings both geographically and with deeper inventory. That will help attract customers who wouldn't consider staying in a home, and make Airbnb a good choice for more types of trips, the analysts say. Airbnb has also made distribution partnerships with companies such as American Express, which the analysts think will extend reach to more affluent travelers. Meanwhile, the company has adjusted its service-fee structure to maintain its more price-sensitive customer base. Shares rise 12%.
