According to reports, former Alibaba P9 executive Tong Yan (Yang Xiaomei, ex-head of Tmall Global's beauty division) joined Sam's Club in mid-October as Vice President of Procurement and Operations. She will report to Zhang Qing, Senior Vice President & Chief Procurement Officer of Sam's Club.

Additionally, sources indicate that former Alibaba P11 executive and Tmall Global head Owen has also recently joined Sam's Club, marking a growing trend of Alibaba talent transitioning to the membership-based retailer.
