AK Medical Holdings Limited disclosed that its issued share capital remained unchanged at 1.12 billion ordinary shares as of 20 May 2026. However, the company has accumulated 8.55 million shares—equivalent to approximately 0.76% of current issued shares—for cancellation following a series of on-market repurchases executed between 6 February and 20 May 2026.

The most recent transaction, conducted on 20 May 2026, involved the purchase of 970,000 shares at prices ranging from HK$6.02 to HK$6.08, for a total consideration of HK$5.84 million. This brought the cumulative number of shares bought back under the June 2025 general mandate to 8.55 million, or 7.62% of the company’s share count on the mandate’s adoption date. Based on disclosed prices, the 14 repurchase tranches since February represent an aggregate cash outlay of roughly HK$53.13 million, implying an average cost of about HK$6.21 per share.

The repurchase programme is being executed under a mandate approved on 18 June 2025, which authorises the company to buy back up to 112.27 million shares. Following the latest purchase, AK Medical retains ample headroom, having utilised just under one-tenth of its authorised limit. In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales until 19 June 2026.

Management confirmed that all repurchases were duly authorised, funded, and executed in compliance with the Main Board Listing Rules and relevant legal requirements.
