Bending Spoons S.p.A. Debuts on US Stock Market, Shares Surge Over 13%

On Wednesday, Italian software asset consolidation giant Bending Spoons S.p.A. (NYSE: BSP) commenced trading on the US stock market, with its share price rising following the opening bell. At the time of writing, the stock was up more than 13%, trading at $32.98. The initial public offering price was set at $29 per share.

The company's growth strategy involves acquiring digital businesses, implementing transformations and optimizations to enhance profitability, and then reinvesting the proceeds into further acquisitions. This model has fueled its ongoing expansion. To date, Bending Spoons has completed more than 50 acquisitions.

As of the first quarter of 2026, its key business operations, listed alphabetically, include: AOL, Brightcove, Eventbrite, Evernote, Harvest, komoot, Remini, StreamYard, Vimeo, and WeTransfer. The company's product portfolio, as of March 2026, boasts over 500 million monthly active users and more than 9 million monthly paying users.

Founded in 2013, Bending Spoons reported revenue of $1.6 billion for the twelve-month period ending March 31, 2026.
