JBB BUILDERS (01903) announced its annual results for the year ended June 30, 2025, reporting revenue of approximately RM427 million, representing a year-on-year increase of about 29.7%. The company recorded a profit attributable to shareholders of RM1.331 million for the year, marking a turnaround from loss to profit compared to the previous year. Basic and diluted earnings per share stood at 0.27 ringgit cents.
According to the announcement, the significant increase in revenue was primarily driven by increased work volume from new land reclamation and related engineering contracts, as well as building and infrastructure services contracts awarded since 2024. Additionally, the company completed more construction projects during the year ended June 30, 2025.
However, this growth was partially offset by several factors: (i) an overall decline in sand transportation volume from Singapore marine transport contracts; (ii) no marine fuel trading business conducted during the period; and (iii) certain contracts that were completed in the year ended June 30, 2024, which had previously contributed to a portion of the annual revenue.
