CIMC Repurchases 445,000 H Shares, Treasury Holdings Rise to 83.45 Million

China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. (CIMC) disclosed that it bought back 445,000 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 28 September 2026.

The shares were repurchased within a price band of HKD 7.325–7.405, for a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 7.368 per share, bringing the total cash outlay to HKD 3.28 million. All repurchased shares are being held as treasury stock.

Following the transaction, CIMC’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.0148% to 3,006.39 million, while treasury shares increased to 83.45 million. Total issued share capital remains unchanged at 3,089.84 million shares because the repurchased shares have not been cancelled.

The buyback forms part of a mandate approved on 16 June 2026 that authorises CIMC to repurchase up to 300.99 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 3.47 million shares, equivalent to 0.12% of the company’s issued share capital on the approval date.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, CIMC is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 28 October 2026.
