FOSUN PHARMA (02196) has announced that its controlling subsidiary, Shanghai Zhaohui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has obtained drug registration approval from the National Medical Products Administration for its Dobutamine Hydrochloride Injection.

The newly approved indication is for the short-term supportive treatment of heart failure caused by decreased myocardial contractility in organic heart disease, including low cardiac output syndrome following open-heart surgery.
