On the early morning of August 27th, JD.com domestic service cleaner Zhang Kexin prepared her cleaning supplies, including detergents and cloths, getting ready to head to Huixin Beili Community in Chaoyang District, Beijing for cleaning work.
"I never expected that after just half a month of training at the JD.com domestic service training and employment base, I would basically master the essentials of cleaning work. Coming from Chifeng to work in Beijing, I've made over 9,500 yuan in less than a month," Zhang Kexin said.
Since the beginning of this year, Chifeng City has thoroughly implemented the employment-first strategy, steadily advancing employment promotion initiatives, and continuously deepening Beijing-Mongolia labor cooperation. In March, the city signed a strategic cooperation agreement with JD.com Group, establishing the nation's first JD.com domestic service training and employment base. Through a four-in-one project-based training model of "job requirements + skills training + skills assessment + employment services," trainees master skills in daily cleaning, home appliance cleaning, and organization services, achieving "training equals employment, graduation equals job placement."
To date, 330 people have registered for training at the JD.com domestic service Chifeng training and employment base, with 46 people working in Beijing earning an average monthly income exceeding 9,000 yuan.
For those working in Beijing, housing represents a significant expense. Chifeng City has strengthened communication and coordination with Beijing districts. With strong support from the Beijing municipal government, multiple districts including Tongzhou and Chaoyang have included JD.com domestic service personnel in the "Urban Construction Managers' Home" housing security program, providing various accommodation options including single rooms, 4-person apartments, and family units. Currently, 900 units of affordable housing have been allocated, with rent starting at 600 yuan per person per month, effectively reducing living costs for workers.
"Working in Beijing with access to affordable housing applications, I can save over 5,000 yuan per month," Zhang Kexin said.
How to mobilize enthusiasm and make domestic services a new channel for wealth creation? Ningcheng County provides 2,300 yuan subsidies to each of the first 40 local applicants who join JD.com domestic services; Songshan District organizes community grid workers for door-to-door precise mobilization with "one-on-one" policy interpretation. Meanwhile, Chifeng City posts prominent recruitment notices at stations, commercial areas, and parks, while conducting online policy interpretation and job information promotion through platforms like TikTok and WeChat, ensuring policy benefits reach the frontline directly.
From skills training to employment security, from policy incentives to promotional mobilization, Chifeng City has comprehensively built a bridge for domestic service employment and wealth creation. Looking forward, Chifeng City will continue to enhance the radiating and driving role of its training and employment base, making the domestic service industry a new stage for more people to realize their dreams and create wealth.
