Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, has set an ambitious goal to utilize the company's Starship rocket to launch one million tons of payload into Earth's orbit each year in the future.
On Wednesday local time, a user on social platform X compared the number of launch attempts by SpaceX with those of other U.S. companies. The user wrote, "I can't wait to see what this chart will look like in 5 years when Starship is operational."
Musk responded, "The goal is to launch one million tons of payload to orbit per year."
