Persistence Resources Group Ltd (the 「Company,」 stock code: 2489) has announced a proposal to change its English name to 「Persistence Gold Group Ltd」 from 「Persistence Resources Group Ltd」 and its Chinese name to 「集海黃金集團有限公司」 from 「集海資源集團有限公司.」 According to the announcement dated 14 November 2025, the proposed name change is subject to the approval of a special resolution by shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting, as well as the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands.

If approved, the new names will become effective upon their entry into the Cayman registrar’s records. The Company will then file the necessary documents with the Hong Kong Registrar of Companies under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance. The English and Chinese stock short names are also expected to be updated after the name change is officially recognized by the Cayman and Hong Kong authorities.

The announcement indicates that daily business operations and financial positions will remain unaffected by the name change. All existing share certificates bearing the current name will continue to be valid for trading, settlement, registration, and delivery purposes. There will be no free exchange of existing certificates for new certificates under the new name.

A circular containing further details, along with the notice convening the extraordinary general meeting, will be dispatched in due course. Additional updates regarding the effective date of the name change and the Company’s new stock short names on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will be announced when relevant approvals are in place.

As of the date of the announcement, the board of directors consists of two executive directors, namely, Dr. Shao Xuxin (Chairman and Chief Executive Officer) and Mr. Mackie James Thomas; one non-executive director, Mr. Chen Li Bei; and four independent non-executive directors, Dr. Malaihollo Jeffrey Francis A, Mr. Chan Ngai Fan, Dr. Zeng Ming, and Ms. Liu Li.
