The new vehicle retains BYD's signature family design, featuring a sleek and modern aesthetic. It sports sharp front headlights connected by a decorative panel bearing the BYD emblem. The upper section of the front fascia adopts a closed grille, while the lower portion features a trapezoidal grille design.

The side profile is compact and sporty, with black-tinted windows and a dynamic character line enhancing its athletic stance. Semi-hidden door handles and sculpted surfaces create varying light reflections. Multi-spoke alloy wheels complete the look. While exact dimensions remain undisclosed, they are expected to align with the domestic model.

At the rear, the design emphasizes rounded contours, topped with a prominent spoiler and a gently sloping rear window. A full-width LED light bar embeds the BYD logo, complemented by a black plastic lower bumper.

Powertrain details are yet to be officially confirmed, but the model is anticipated to adopt BYD’s fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, pairing a 1.5L engine with an electric motor. Based on current specifications of similar models, the engine delivers up to 74kW, while the electric motor generates 160kW.

With BYD already established in the European market, the upcoming Yuan UP DM-i’s regional pricing strategy remains a key point of interest. For further updates on new models and purchasing trends, stay tuned. Consumers are advised to make informed decisions when purchasing vehicles.
