Dynatrace Holdings LLC (DT) shares surged 7.20% in pre-market trading on Wednesday, following the release of its fiscal first-quarter financial results that exceeded analyst expectations.
The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.48, surpassing the consensus estimate of $0.45. Revenue for the quarter came in at $555 million, beating the expected $550 million and reflecting a 16% year-over-year increase. Annual recurring revenue (ARR) grew 17% to $2.14 billion, driven by strong new logo growth and a doubling of annualized logs consumption.
Despite a slight miss in the second-quarter revenue guidance midpoint and CFO resignation announcement, investors focused on the robust top- and bottom-line beats, pushing the stock sharply higher in early trading.
