Guangzhou's municipal government has released an implementation plan to foster high-quality growth in the artificial intelligence industry. The strategy emphasizes accelerating the research, development, and promotion of intelligent hardware products, including intelligent connected vehicles, autonomous unmanned systems, whole-house smart terminals, wearable smart devices, industrial intelligent terminals, and brain-computer interfaces. It also encourages the application of large AI models on vehicle-mounted edge devices and supports the creation of AIoT systems that enable coordination among home appliances, central control units, and sensors.

The plan further promotes the commercialization of embodied intelligent robots, backing companies in independently developing core components. A key objective is expanding the use of smart robotics across industrial manufacturing, home services, and healthcare sectors.
