Despite posting a loss in the third quarter, Boyaa Interactive's profit attributable to owners for the nine months ended September 30 surged 149.4% year-over-year to 212.3 million yuan. This figure has already exceeded the company's full-year earnings of 117.2 million yuan in 2023, highlighting its strong performance so far this year.
The positive financial results, which included a 4.8% increase in quarterly revenue, appear to have driven the significant rally in Boyaa Interactive's shares on Thursday. Investors are likely optimistic about the company's prospects, given its ability to surpass its 2023 profitability levels within the first three quarters of the current year.
