The Japanese government is considering allocating approximately 15 trillion yen in total funding for the second batch of projects under its $550 billion investment commitment to the United States.

Projects identified as primary investment candidates include: the construction of next-generation nuclear reactors, production plants for liquid crystal display (LCD) and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screens, as well as copper smelting facilities.

The largest project by scale will be the nuclear reactor construction, with Japan reviewing a proposal to build 10 nuclear reactors manufactured by the American company Westinghouse.
