RIGOL IPO Subscription Period Concludes with Strong Demand, Margin Financing Exceeds HK$9 Billion

The subscription period for the initial public offering of RIGOL (00537) concluded after running from June 30 to July 6, 2026.

Market information indicates the IPO attracted significant investor interest, with margin financing from securities firms reaching approximately HK$9.022 billion. This represents a subscription level of roughly 78.1 times the HK$114.04 million raised in the public offering tranche.

According to the listing plan, the company intends to globally issue 24.8022 million H shares. Of these, 10% are allocated for the Hong Kong public offering, with the remaining 90% designated for the international offering. The maximum offer price is set at HK$45.98 per share, with a board lot size of 100 H shares.

The company anticipates that its H shares will commence trading on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on Thursday, July 9, 2026. CITIC Securities is acting as the sole sponsor for the listing.

RIGOL is an electronic measurement instrument company based in China, recognized for its advanced technological capabilities and extensive global presence. The company designs, develops, manufactures, and delivers a comprehensive range of electronic measurement instruments and solutions, supporting scientific exploration and industrial innovation.

Operating under the "RIGOL" brand, the company serves a client base of over 100,000 end-users across more than 90 countries and regions. It addresses complex testing challenges for customers in various sectors, including communications, new energy, semiconductors, education, and scientific research.

Data from Frost & Sullivan shows that RIGOL is the largest supplier of electronic measurement instruments in China. Based on 2025 revenue, it ranks eighth globally with a market share of 1.2%. Furthermore, it holds the sixth position in the Chinese electronic measurement instrument market for the same year, commanding a 1.9% market share.

Financially, the company reported revenues of approximately RMB 671 million, RMB 776 million, and RMB 900 million for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, respectively. For the same periods, its total comprehensive income for the year was about RMB 109 million, RMB 93.484 million, and RMB 91.738 million.

Based on its latest unaudited management forecast for the first half of 2026, the company expects net profit attributable to owners of the parent to be in the range of RMB 34.5839 million to RMB 42.6223 million. This represents a year-on-year increase of 113.27% to 162.84%. Net profit attributable to owners of the parent after deducting non-recurring gains and losses is projected to be between RMB 21.4738 million and RMB 26.4650 million.

Regarding cornerstone investors, the group has entered into cornerstone investment agreements with HHLR Advisors, Ltd, CPE Hemlock, Suzhou New District, Huayuan, Sungrow Power Supply Hong Kong, Pengnian Group, CITIC-Prudential Fund, and CPE Hemlock. Subject to certain conditions, these cornerstone investors have agreed to subscribe, or cause their designated entities to subscribe, for a certain number of offer shares (rounded down to the nearest board lot of 100 H shares). The total subscription amount from these investors is approximately US$61.28 million. This amount is exclusive of brokerage commissions, SFC transaction levy, Financial Reporting Council transaction levy, and Stock Exchange trading fee.
