Shares of MiniMax-W (00100) surged more than 16% during intraday trading on September 18, driven by a series of recent breakthroughs in overseas markets. The company's partnerships now span local language model development, specialized applications, and public-facing AI tools for consumers.

This month, HUMAIN, an AI firm under Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, unveiled humain-m3, an Arabic-language model built on MiniMax's M3 architecture, and opened it for research preview. Meanwhile, Genspark introduced Gen-1 Slides, trained on MiniMax M3, which has already been integrated into the standard mode of its AI Slides product.

In addition, MiniMax Agent, Hailuo AI, and MiniMax Audio have been incorporated into Singtel's AI Pass, a subscription bundle supported by the Singapore government as part of its AI skills course offerings. This initiative grants eligible learners access to these tools through the local telecom giant's platform.

These developments highlight a new trajectory for Chinese large language models venturing abroad. By leveraging foundational models to empower overseas enterprises in developing localized and specialized products, while simultaneously tapping into regional distribution channels to broaden AI application reach, Chinese AI firms are opening fresh opportunities to integrate into foreign industries and public service ecosystems.
