The "Treasure City" initiative, launched by JD.com Travel in September 2025, is an IP project that collaborates with local cultural and tourism bureaus to discover distinctive cities and uncover more hidden travel gems for users. By integrating platform resources and marketing capabilities, it aims to create a new model of cultural tourism cooperation combining "resources + marketing + experience." The first stop of the initiative was Lishui, Zhejiang, renowned as "China's Ecological Pioneer City," where JD.com Travel established a strategic partnership with Lishui's cultural tourism authorities.
