Bank Of Guiyang Co.,Ltd. has announced the successful completion of its latest bond issuance, raising a total of 3 billion yuan. The issuance, which took place in the national interbank bond market, was specifically designed to bolster lending to small and micro enterprises.

The financial institution confirmed on August 20 that it had fully allocated the "2026 Phase One Special Financial Bond for Small and Micro Enterprise Loans." The bonds were formally priced on August 18, 2026, with the entire issuance being completed by August 20, following the necessary approvals from the People's Bank of China.

The newly issued bonds are structured as three-year fixed-rate instruments, carrying a coupon rate of 1.62%. Proceeds from this issuance will be strictly directed toward the provision of new loans for small and micro businesses, in full compliance with applicable regulations and regulatory oversight.

Where to begin

This move underscores the bank's ongoing commitment to supporting the real economy by channeling dedicated funding towards smaller enterprises, which are often a key driver of employment and innovation. By securing this long-term, low-cost funding, the bank is well-positioned to expand its credit offerings to this vital sector.

Why focus solely on this bond

The targeted nature of this bond ensures that capital is ring-fenced for its intended purpose, providing a clear and transparent mechanism for supporting small business growth. This strategic financial instrument not only diversifies the bank's funding sources but also aligns with broader policy goals aimed at easing financing pressures for smaller firms.
