Recently, Partners Group, one of the world's largest global private markets firms, announced it has established a new distribution partnership with Bank of East Asia (00023). This marks Bank of East Asia as its first distribution partner in Hong Kong. The collaboration will provide wealth management and high-net-worth clients of Bank of East Asia with access to a series of transformational private markets investment opportunities offered by the group. It is understood that Partners Group is a Switzerland-based global private markets firm active in private equity, private infrastructure, private real estate, and private debt. As of 2025, the group manages approximately USD 150 billion in assets. Hong Kong is an integral private wealth market for Partners Group, which established a Hong Kong office in 2024 to serve as a base for clients in Hong Kong and Greater China, as well as a central hub connecting its network of distribution and investment partners across the region.
