ZHAOJIN MINING (01818) recently announced the successful completion of its issuance of 1.2 billion yuan in corporate bonds, a move designed to bolster its technological innovation initiatives.

According to the company's official filing, the issuance pertains to the first tranche of its 2026 publicly offered, renewable corporate bonds tailored for professional investors. The bonds are specifically earmarked for supporting technological innovation projects. The total scale of this particular bond issuance was capped at no more than 1.2 billion yuan, and the offering has now been fully subscribed.

The bonds carry a base term of three years, structured around three-year interest accrual periods. At the end of the initial base term and at the conclusion of each subsequent cycle, the issuer retains the option to exercise a renewal right, which would extend the bond's duration by another cycle. Should the issuer decide not to exercise this renewal option, the bonds will be redeemed in full upon maturity.

The bonds were priced at 100 yuan per unit and were distributed exclusively through a book-building process to qualified institutional investors, in accordance with the regulations set forth in the Measures for the Administration of Corporate Bond Issuance and Trading and the Measures for the Administration of Investor Suitability in the Shanghai Stock Exchange Bond Market (2023 Revision).

The issuance process concluded on September 14, 2026. The final issuance amount for this tranche was exactly 1.2 billion yuan, reflecting a robust subscription multiple of 2.34 times. The final coupon rate was set at a competitive 1.73%.
