The company's shareholders transferred 437 million shares to Astron Capital Management, while simultaneously moving 437 million shares out of BNP Paribas.

CHINA OIL & GAS announced that in May 2026, the company entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Shandong Ronghui Property Group Co., Ltd. (Shandong Ronghui). Under this agreement, leveraging the company's subsidiary, Jining Zhongtai Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. (Zhongtai Coal Chemical), both parties will collaborate to build an upstream-downstream linkage model. Shandong Ronghui intends to cooperate in developing natural gas liquefaction production-related businesses, with the produced liquefied natural gas products used to supply the new energy LNG vessels manufactured and operated by Shandong Ronghui. Together, they will explore the creation of a "production-refueling-application" full-chain natural gas comprehensive utilization development path (this cooperation).
