NEW FOCUS AUTO (HKEX: 00360) has announced that on June 7, 2026, Nuofuke Technology (Shanghai), a subsidiary in which the company holds a 45% interest, entered into an agreement with a contractor consortium. This consortium, comprising Jiangsu Zhongzhi and China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Third Construction Engineering, will undertake the construction and equipment procurement and installation for a smart manufacturing base in the Qingpu District. The total contract value is approximately RMB 580 million.

The project is scheduled for a 480-day construction period. The smart manufacturing base will be located on a designated plot in Qingpu District, covering a total floor area of approximately 74,377.67 square meters. The facilities will include Workshop No. 1, living and ancillary facilities, Workshop No. 2, Smart Factory Building No. 1, Smart Factory Building No. 2, a gatehouse, a fire control room, bicycle and motorcycle sheds, supporting warehouses, a parking building, a switching station, and external site works.
