Shares of CMS (00867) rose more than 4%, reaching 4.24% higher at HK$10.57 as of press time, with turnover of HK$10.9292 million.
On the news front, on November 4, CMS announced that its subsidiary Rxilient Medical received approval from the Health Sciences Authority of Singapore (HSA) on November 3, 2026, for the New Drug Application (NDA) of ruxolitinib phosphate cream (the "Product" or "Lumirix®") for the treatment of vitiligo.
The product is indicated for the treatment of non-segmental vitiligo with facial involvement in adolescent and adult patients aged 12 years and older. It is Singapore's first and only topical prescription drug that directly targets the pathophysiological mechanism of vitiligo, addressing long-unmet clinical needs.
This approval fills a gap in Singapore's vitiligo treatment landscape.
In addition to Singapore, Rxilient Medical has to date launched sales of Lumirix® (for vitiligo) in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
It is understood that CMS launched its "industrial internationalization" strategy in 2022, using Singapore as the hub for its emerging market business, building an efficient value closed loop with coordinated "research, production, and sales" across the entire industry chain.
