The board of CHINANEWTOWN (ASX: 01278) has announced the appointment of Mr. Hu Zhiwei as a non-executive director, effective from the conclusion of the board meeting held on June 25, 2026.

In a related change, Ms. Mei Zhe has stepped down from her roles as company secretary and authorized representative under Rule 3.05 of the Listing Rules, also effective June 25, 2026.

Concurrently, Ms. Huang Aiyan has been appointed as the company secretary and authorized representative, taking over the responsibilities from the same date.
