Hong Kong-listed Kindstar Globalgene Technology, Inc. (KINDSTAR GLOBAL) disclosed that it repurchased 18,000 ordinary shares on 31 August 2026 through on-market transactions on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 0.97 to HKD 0.98, for a total consideration of HKD 17,593.15. All repurchased shares were retained as treasury stock, increasing the company’s treasury share balance to 8.66 million.
Following the transaction, the number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) fell to 1.03 billion from 1.03 billion previously, representing a marginal 0.00174 % reduction. Total issued shares, including treasury shares, remained unchanged at 1.04 billion.
The buyback forms part of the mandate granted by shareholders on 5 June 2026, authorizing the company to repurchase up to 103.43 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 1.60 million shares, or 0.1546 % of the issued share count on the mandate date.
Under Hong Kong listing rules, KINDSTAR GLOBAL is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 30 September 2026.
