Several prominent automotive content creators have recently taken to social media to voice allegations that Great Wall Motor Company Limited (GWMOTOR) has failed to pay them for promotional work for over a year.

One influencer, known online as "Ouni Xixi-_-", stated that they completed a promotional campaign for the automaker in 2025 through an intermediary, with payment promised within 90 working days after publication. However, the payment was delayed for more than a year, and they were subsequently asked to accept a 20% discount on the agreed fee.

Another creator, "Electric Car Skin Hya", claimed that none of the videos produced for Great Wall Motor in 2025 have been settled. Similarly, "Hedy Talks Cars" reported having over twenty pieces of content for which payment has been outstanding for "over a year".

The influencers have publicly tagged the official social media accounts of Great Wall Motor and its Chairman, Wei Jianjun, demanding an explanation and resolution.

Following the spread of these allegations online, the influencer "Ouni Xixi-_-" provided an update, stating that the outstanding payment had finally been transferred to them.
