CGN POWER (01816) has announced that on April 19, 2026, Unit 1 of CGN Huizhou Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company, completed all commissioning activities and is now qualified for commercial operation. Huizhou Nuclear Power will also proceed with obtaining necessary documents, including the electric power business license, in accordance with relevant requirements. Typically, once these procedures are finalized, the aforementioned date will be recognized as the official commercial operation date for the unit. Following the commencement of commercial operations at Huizhou Unit 1, the number of operational nuclear power units managed by the company, including joint ventures, will increase to 29. The total installed capacity of operational units will also rise from 31,838 megawatts to 33,040 megawatts.
