MINIEYE (02431) has officially announced that it has received a notification confirming its status as the winning bidder for the Tongxiang Integrated Urban Traffic Sensing Project (2025 Driverless Bus Procurement Project), with a bid amount of RMB 11.85 million. This project marks a significant breakthrough for the company in the commercialization of Level 4 autonomous driving and further consolidates its leading position in the smart city and intelligent transportation sectors.
In this project, MINIEYE will leverage its integrated vehicle-road-cloud technology to disrupt traditional single-vehicle intelligence models, utilizing the pre-existing holographic digital road infrastructure in Tongxiang's Wuzhen main thoroughfare. This initiative includes equipping buses with a "God's-eye view" to effectively address blind spots during intersection turns, significantly reducing hardware costs while improving efficiency.
The driverless buses for the Tongxiang project have passed stringent vehicle-grade reliability tests and showcase advantages of "high precision, strong computing power, and low cost," making them well-suited to meet diverse demands for technological stability, scenario adaptability, and efficient commercialization. As a benchmark project focusing on integrated vehicle-road-cloud scenarios, the Tongxiang driverless vehicle initiative possesses unique and scarce value compared to similar projects.
Winning this project not only denotes a technical and commercial breakthrough for MINIEYE but will also create a replicable model for intelligent transportation construction at the county level, assisting Tongxiang in its transition from a pilot city for integrated vehicle-road-cloud applications to an industrial hub. According to the company’s mid-2025 interim results announcement, the revenue from its driverless minibus operations exceeded RMB 10 million in the first half of 2025, with over ten projects secured.
