On May 26, a health service initiative for workers was held at SF Information Technology Service Co., Ltd. in Dongguan. The event, organized by the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and hosted by the Dongguan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Guangdong Workers' Hospital, and Guangzhou Leda Health Science Co., Ltd., provided convenient and professional health services to employees. These services were integrated with activities such as physical examinations, free medical consultations, and group psychological support specifically tailored for workers in new forms of employment. Approximately 200 employees participated in the event.

Coinciding with Mental Health Month, the initiative focused on addressing the psychological challenges and needs of workers in new employment sectors. It introduced an integrated service model combining offline activities, online support, and ongoing companionship to help employees cultivate a positive and healthy mindset. At the event, a psychological service team offered one-on-one counseling sessions to address common issues such as irregular work schedules among couriers, workplace communication difficulties, and parenting concerns. These sessions aimed to help employees manage negative emotions and reduce psychological strain. Group psychological activities and interactive games were also conducted to help participants relieve work-related stress, relax, and build closer connections with colleagues.

An online mental health service platform was also launched, enabling employees to interact with an AI psychological counselor at any time for self-guided mental adjustment. This platform is designed to reinforce the effects of in-person counseling and transition from one-time onsite services to long-term, supportive companionship.

"Delivering packages every day, I sometimes encounter upset customers, which can leave me feeling frustrated and unsure how to cope. The psychological counselor today gave me very practical advice," said Mr. Chen, a courier with SF Express. He learned to recognize his emotional signals early and use techniques such as the "one-minute breathing exercise" and "recording three good things" to regulate his mental state.

Meanwhile, the physical examination area offered over 20 check-up items covering clinical, laboratory, automated instrument, and functional imaging tests. A multi-disciplinary free consultation zone featured experts from fields including traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation medicine, nutrition, internal and external medicine, and general practice. Employees could have their physical examination reports interpreted and experience traditional Chinese medicine services such as bee venom therapy, moxibustion, and ear acupressure. Additionally, they could learn emergency skills including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and the Heimlich maneuver.
