First, the authority has bolstered pre-disaster prevention by closely monitoring the tropical depression and changing rainfall patterns. Regulatory alerts have been issued to grid, power generation, and power construction companies, urging them to focus on preventing waterlogging in low-lying areas, ensuring backup power sources for generators, safeguarding dam flood control at hydropower stations, and halting construction work at engineering sites for safety.
